Holidays

We understand that staff and faculty need time-off to help meet personal and family obligations. We offer 10 paid staff holidays, 10 consecutive paid Summer-break days and 4 paid Winter-break days in each calendar year.

Leaves

Faculty member and staff are entitled to 15 days of earned leave, 12 days of casual leave in a calendar year .

Study Leave/Sabbatical

A study leave/extended/deputation for a maximum period of two years is available (subject to approval). During the period of study leave the faculty / staff member’s position will be maintained when he returns after the leave period.

Provident Fund

IILM CMS staff and faculty are eligible for the provident fund which is operative with the Commissioner of the Provident Fund, Government of India, as per the Provident Fund policy of Government of India. Presently it is provided @12% of the basic salary, deposited by both the employer and the faculty & staff members in PF account given to the faculty & staff members by the PF Commissioner.

Gratuity

IIILM CMS faculty & staff members are entitled to Gratuity as per the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1970 and Rules framed there under as amended from time-to-time.

Medical Reimbursement

All eligible faculty & staff members are entitled to claim medical reimbursement up to maximum of one month’s basic salary during an academic year, on medical expenses incurred on self and family against submission of necessary medical bills and prescription vouchers and cash receipts. Family includes self, spouse, dependent parents and children.

Leave Travel Assistance

LTA is given to all full-time staff after completion of 12 months of service. It is paid automatically in the 13th month along with the salary. The amount is equal to one month’s basic salary.

Loans

Loans to faculty & staff members in the organization are available (subject to approval) for house building, major repair/new purchase, own, daughter’s or dependent sister’s marriage, serious illness- primarily for hospitalization for self, spouse, parents and unmarried children, Victim of natural calamity and on similar compassionate grounds, Purchase of own vehicles (two-wheeler/four wheeler) and Higher Education of children.

Maternity Leave (ML)

This is applicable to all female staff who have completed one year of continuous service and have attended at least 80 days in office. ML may be granted to a female faculty / staff members for first two surviving children. A maximum period of three months of ML may be sanctioned all such employees with pay.
