The Institutes responsibility simply doesn't cease after equipping its students with the necessary managerial skills. The Institute strives to place its students in the best of the industries. Special emphasis is laid on Placements and Career Development. The Institute boasts of a full-fledged Career Management Centre. The Cell serves as an interface to establish the best fit between the students and the corporate entities.
Its goal is to primarily:

• Identify prospective employers, their requirement in terms of skill sets and develop the same in our  students.

• A structured Personality Development Programme, wherein interviewing skills are imbibed by trainers and corporates alike.

• Help prospective employers reach out to our students to meet their personnel needs.

• Help students identify employers according to their interests and competencies.

• Build in the students the competencies that are of value to the prospective employers, both in contemporary as well as future perspective;

• Help prospective employers articulate their human resources needs (the job profiles, and trainee's profile) and accordingly prepare and recommend students for internship and placement.

• Students from the graduating batch who have a best-fit with organization's needs (both with skills and attitude) are identified and their detailed resumes are forwarded to the companies for further processing.

• Mentoring by the alumni, in terms of sharing experiences vis-à-vis realities of corporate life, refining expectations and projecting future trends.

College Of Management Studies, IILM- AHL; is proactively keen in engaging itself in the above mentioned Industry Interface.

The critical indicators of the level of industry interface are

• Joint research projects taken up with industry
• Field cases authored by faculty
• Live cases that students take up with industry
• The number of open management development programmes (MDPs) conducted
• Consulting projects taken up by faculty.
• CEO forums
• Inviting practicing managers to mentor CMS, IILM-AHL students.
